Yes, this is normal
makes sense, thats why most ppl have their rgb to like 25%?
Where did you get those numbers from?
If you're young and/or have good hearing, you may be able to hear the LED controller whine slightly, if the LEDs are turned up high. Reducing it slightly can help.
idk i saw a few profiles on the community base at 25%
i turned it down to 50% rn and can't hear it anymore
just checked again and ig i really just randomly picked a few that were at 25%
most are at 100, i can't hear it with headset on anyway
a side note we have a (old) test build that lowers the frequency the LED operate to help with coil whine sound if you wish to try
https://beta.wootility.io/?test-builds=true
Note: with this test build if you view the keyboard on a camera you may notice the LED act like a wave or flicker
ill try this out thanks
i just mainly wanted to know if it was normal or i was unlucky since the keyboard is only a few days old
ohh in that case pretty normal most LEDs can produce coil whine but depending on a few factors
- Brightness
- the frequency the LEDs operate
- how much sound can be redirected/block by materials in this case switch's keycaps, foam, case
- distance
- how good your hearing is
you may not notice it
yea ive been told i have ''dog hearing'' i hear EVERYTHING also the reason i got closed back headhpones
same (doesn't help that i have 4-5 keyboards on my desk)
