Probably? What are you doing though that is causing the mounting pins to break? That sounds more like mishandling or a faulty batch than a normal durability problem.
I can't say I recognise this personally. I've had my 80HE since before the first ones shipped out, and none of my switches feel off or have gone loose.

its the actually clips that clip the swtich to the top plate
i gotta dump the tabs out every few months or my two becomes a maraca
and every now and then ill have a swtich just come out
because both tabs have broken
Probably the first time I’ve ever heard of that. Are you ever laying the keyboard upside down, anything on top of the keyboard, or it sandwiched between something?
You should definitely reach out to support about that one.
Might be a switch plate with really weird tolerances?
Are you replacing with switches from the same box?
no i just use it like 4-6 hours a day, 7 days a week
i have a second two i got from a buddy who went to a smaller kb
its a batch 2, but the board is dead
and its not the same keys, its effected like 90% of the swtich locations
I'll inspect all of my switches when I pop them out tonight for Tikken.
But I think you might be really unlucky. I don't recall hearing of a similar case ever. But Andrew and tech team would know
Contact support dude
its byond support issue, i want to buy more swtiches XD
its out of warrenty, and its definity wear and tear
All the same. I think the team would appreciate the heads up. And might be able to help with some replacements if you're not in a major hurry.
But if it’s a plate issue, new switches won’t solve it. And if it’s a handling issue, that won’t solve it either. They shouldn’t be breaking like that regardless of “wear and tear.” If you just want to buy new switches though, by all means feel free to download that.
i type to hard 100%. cherry mx only get like a year before i get failures
