Hello everyone,

my name is Daniel, and I’m playing Battlefield 6 on PC using a Wooting 60HE (H60).

I’m trying to use the Gamepad mode in Wootility to enable aim assist in Battlefield 6 while keeping mouse aiming and keyboard movement (a hybrid setup). However, I can’t get it to work correctly — the game often doesn’t recognize it as a controller, and aim assist never activates.

Could someone please explain how to properly set up Gamepad mode for Battlefield 6 on PC?

I’d like to know:

Which controller type to select (Xbox or PlayStation)

How to map movement and actions properly

If I need to change anything in Battlefield’s controller settings

And if there are any known issues or extra steps for hybrid setups

Any help or example profiles would be really appreciated 🙏

Thanks in advance!

Expecting aim assist in any game is... optimistic. Typically controller movement is disabled as soon as you use keyboard and mouse inputs. So any aim assist provided for the controller is removed.

I don't have BF6 personally, so can't help with exact settings. Typically you would set up an xbox controller in Wootility, bind WASD to controller inputs and disable the option there to type normal keys as well.

And then unbind WASD ingame, so only controller inputs control that.
