Yes. You would be unable to configure the keyboard while another RGB app in interfacing with the board.
Just turn off SignalRGB off briefly and back on once you're done.
so i would have to turn signal rbg off, then eneble stuff like rapid trigger and socd and then turn signalrgb back on and all my wootility settings would be saved? because i have seen some people say stuff like socd wouldnt work
it should work
thank you for all the help:3
Yup. It's mostly about communication. One app prevents the other from configuring the board.
Also keep in mind that if you use RGB animations Tachyon benefits will be disabled, cause it relies on using the additional bandwidth that animations take up.
What is Tachyon benefits if you dont mind me asking?
Im not planning to connect my keyboard to signalrgb, does that mean i can use wootility without signalrgb interfering?
Ill try to explain it the best i can haha, I want to use signalrgb to change all my casefans, ram and gpus rgb, i also want to use wootility for rapid trigger, socd etc and the keyboard rgb. Would that work? Im sorry if this is confusing
8k scanning rate
it still can fk with the keyboard as far as i know
okii thank you again for all the help
Do you know if there are any other rgb softwares that would work, ive heard that openrgb arent as stingy when other programms are open
@sharp mantle if you’re not using SignalRGB to try and control the wooting LEDs, just be sure to disable any control of it within SignalRGB and you can kiss any conflicting issues goodbye (iirc there’s something in the device settings in SignalRGB app you gotta press). OpenRGB is another decent RGB app but they don’t have the same $ to put towards software development so everything feels less polished imo.
ty so so much, ive been stressing all morning about this and there is like no info about this at all online
Yeah RGB control is a whole rabbit hole of tweaking to get it dialed…that’s why I don’t use any RGB pc components anymore 😂
also while we are on it, do y ou think signalrgb would detect wootility even if its web based?
Wym “detect” it?
If you’re talking about the “automatically close conflicting programs” feature on SignalRGB causing issues, no it won’t. But since SignalRGB isn’t optimized to properly control wooting keyboards, as long as the keyboard stays enabled in your device tab on SignalRGB, it can cause a myriad of issues with your wooting settings and corrupt any wooting updates (requiring a factory reset of the keyboard to get it working again).
As mentioned earlier, it’s really an issue of SignalRGB trying to block any communication from wootility. Your core wootility settings save onboard though and don’t require software to run.
aslong as all of the features like rapid trigger, socd etc work im happy
Yeah they shouldn’t have any issue
