60HE+ youtube guide confusion

Hi, I just got a 60HE+ module and alumaze case and I was following the linked tutorial on youtube, in step 5 he says to remove the accent piece but what am I supposed to do with it then? He just continues and the accent piece is back in the keyboard so I am reall confused here...
