#How to proceed with PCB replacement

I had a problem with the LED on my 60he

  • and received a replacement kit from Wooting, but in addition to the PCB, the case came with it. Should I remove both PCBs and make the replacement, or should I transfer the switches and keycaps to the new case with the PCB?

You should have received some instructions with the email?

Unscrew the old board, so you only have the switch plate (with switches and keycaps) and put that into the new case+PCB (or keep the old case)

The end result is

New PCB, old switch plate, switches and keycaps.
Return Old PCB + a case

The PCB is installed into the case to keep it safe during shipping. A PCB alone has a higher risk of damage from getting bent or banged up 🙂
