Hello All,

Just got my keyboard today fresh out the box, hasn't been 30 minutes since I've used it, and my keyboard keeps connecting and reconnecting. I suspect its because of the coiled cable but I'm not too sure. Would appreciate any help :)

Just plugged my usb into a different port, restarted my laptop, and turned on tachyon mode and my keyboard hasn't reconnected thus far so hopefully it stays like that. Will update the thread if any changes occur.

Update - issue still occurs but less persistently.

#

Would it be worth connecting an uncoiled cable into the keyboard, I'm not too sure as I don't want to damage the keyboard but I do have an un-coiled keyboard I use for my controller?

You need to check the JST cable, it’s most likely not plugged in properly.

  1. Unscrew all the screws on the bottom of the case
  2. Remove the top case
  3. Lift the module
  4. Push both ends of the JST cable into the PCB/USB daughterboard connectors
  5. Reassemble the keyboard

I've also ensured the JST cable was plugged in properly 3 times now

I'm not able to send a video for some reason but my keyboard switches to a different colour for a split second then appears normal

#

I'll send a vid in dms

Not sure if it was possibly because I was on the RGB settings

I’m not sure what the problem is here. Can you try using a different USB port on the back of your PC? Also, please use the included cable. If you’re already using it, try another USB cable if one is available.

Ah, USB hub. That is probably your problem.

I found out the video I sent was because I accidently pressed the FN key which is probably what I've been doing when I've been playing my game which uses some of the same keybinds used by the FN layer which may be why my kb stuttered, is there a way to disable the fn key?

No need to make a second thread - But yes. You can just go to the remap menu and remove the FN keybind or move it.
