Just plugged my usb into a different port, restarted my laptop, and turned on tachyon mode and my keyboard hasn't reconnected thus far so hopefully it stays like that. Will update the thread if any changes occur.
Update - issue still occurs but less persistently.
Would it be worth connecting an uncoiled cable into the keyboard, I'm not too sure as I don't want to damage the keyboard but I do have an un-coiled keyboard I use for my controller?
You need to check the JST cable, it’s most likely not plugged in properly.
- Unscrew all the screws on the bottom of the case
- Remove the top case
- Lift the module
- Push both ends of the JST cable into the PCB/USB daughterboard connectors
- Reassemble the keyboard
Thank you, I've just ordered a PH1 screwdriver since I can't find one at the moment, I'll update the thread tomorrow hopefully or later on if I'm able to find a screwdriver :)
Pushed both ends of the JST cable in and the keyboard seems to be working fine for now, hasn't disconnected since I've plugged it in. Thank you very much :)
Nice 👍
My keyboard has started refreshing just for a split second for some reason
I've also ensured the JST cable was plugged in properly 3 times now
I'm not able to send a video for some reason but my keyboard switches to a different colour for a split second then appears normal
I'll send a vid in dms
Not sure if it was possibly because I was on the RGB settings
Happened again, without having the RGB settings open, unplugged and replugged the keyboard

I’m not sure what the problem is here. Can you try using a different USB port on the back of your PC? Also, please use the included cable. If you’re already using it, try another USB cable if one is available.
I have a gaming laptop so I use a hub, also the problem isn't too constant but still pretty annoying
Ah, USB hub. That is probably your problem.
I tried plugging in the keyboard into the USB port and I noticed when mashing keys when I'm playing my game it refreshes for a split second then comes back more often than the USB hub.
I found out the video I sent was because I accidently pressed the FN key which is probably what I've been doing when I've been playing my game which uses some of the same keybinds used by the FN layer which may be why my kb stuttered, is there a way to disable the fn key?
No need to make a second thread - But yes. You can just go to the remap menu and remove the FN keybind or move it.
