So I finally finally settled on the 60he+ but now I wana know if it’s possible to use the optimum case without the friction pad so I wana use screws but I can’t find a video that shows a build guild using the case without screws. Bec I heard that if I don’t ground the case with board it may get damaged so idk what to do. Ty in advance 😁

You can screw in the module in the Optimum case, just like the Alumaze.

#

Curious why you don't want to use the friction fit pad?

#

Optimum case comes with a grounding sponge. Your keyboard will be grounded even when you use the friction mount.

Idk I just have the felling that it will fall out

even tho I saw a vid where someone had the kb upside down and was shaking it

#

I will try both ig

You can always screw it in the case. Just try friction mount first.

#

Yeah

#

So if I don’t use friction I just get the module and put the silicone orings on the screw holes and add the board and screw in the 5 holes ?

#

Like the alu 60 case vid?

terse ferry
#

Ye will try the friction then

Ik this ain’t about the case but do I need to get the switch and lube kit if I am getting the module and case and switches separate

#

So like I will build the kb on my own so does it still get pre-lubed or do I need the kits ?

#

To lube it ?

terse ferry
#

Niceee

#

And the module ?

#

The stabilizer

#

I think 🤔

honest mason
#

Stabilizers? They're also factory lubed, but it can be inconsistent. Get a lube from Wooting and lube the stabilizers if you won't like their sound.

terse ferry
#

okay and iff I don’t lube my kb after a year or so can the plastic form the switch or stabilizers wear down ?

#

Ik questions are getting dumber

#

Just gana do the order tmrw and I don’t wana miss anything 😅
