randomly started overnight. ive looked everywhere on my pc for something that might be registering it as a shortcut or binding but i dont see anything and tried other normal stuff like restarting pc, unplugging keyboard etc.. every other key works normal. it registers there being an input on the s key but it gets cancelled instantly.

apparently disabling microsoft edge in my startup apps fixed this problem. no clue why but a fix is a fix :D
i lied it didnt it just made it take longer for the problem to start after opening my pc
Could be... Copilot?

Just spitballing based off of Google.
There's no reason why the keyboard should block anything - It's typically some kind of driver companion app like AMD/Nvidia or something that has some weird shortcuts.
ive checked all of those apps n made sure they arent causing it n this also just randomly started happening today ive not changed or updated anything and this has never happened before
if its information of use ive figured out that when im holding shift and alt it only picks up me releasing the key and not the initial press
