Like physically burnt 🔥?
Looks like the fb1 - frerrite bead
Most likely thermal runaway effect
Definitely not normal the fb may of bean cracked or damaged
I recommend to check the keybardPCB as well Incase this may of also damaged components near there
Like hall sensors or LEDs

If you sent a ticket best to wait for a response we can send replacement jst/daughterboard to resolve the issue
For now just checking if anything else may be damaged from the proximity of the fb1

I will mostly like try to find that ticket later when back
But pictures of the PCB would also be appreciated as we like to invisgate these matter

It might be fine and just a cosmetic issue but would require replacement parts to tell

There seems to be a little bit of soot on the side you mentioned.
We will send the replacement jst/daughter board
if the keyboard has any issues once powered like the led is dead or hall sensors doesn't work we will escalate further
Yes
PCB/components are rated for certain temperature for soldering so while the led / area may have some residue/soot it possible the PCB is fine and just a cosmetic issue can attempt to wipe this with iPa and a brush and see if this removes the residue
I believe the residue is from the ferrite bead so could be limited to that is only affected
