Can’t you just pull it out? It happens sometimes but you should be able to remove it from the previous spacebar.
Alternatively, you can use one of the spare switches instead.
Just pull the switch out of the spacebar keycap?
I’ve tried! It won’t budge at all.
Grabbed it with my fingers and tugged but it just seems stuck through and through. I’ve applied force to it but not a lot because I am afraid of breaking it.
Can record a video if that helps to just show it
Should’ve said it was stuck now I look stupid LMAO my bad. But yes it’s stuck into the key cap
Are you using stock switches or aftermarket ones? For example, Jade Maxes are known to have this kind of issue.
The stock ones! I didn’t change anything other than they keycaps and the case
That's odd. Can you post a video? I'm curious.
Also is it an ANSI model that came with the keycaps preassembled, or did you have to install them yourself? If latter I'd be wondering how hard you had to push to install the spacebar keycap
Preassembled
okay this is solved. you just gotta pull really hard my brother helped me out with this
