#Brazilian Tax problems

I have the following situation: I ordered this keyboard to my Brazilian address, but I am moving to the US really soon (to NY), can I refuse to pay the Brazilian taxes on the item and have Wooting request FedEx to transport it to my NY address (FedEx informed me that Wooting basically decides where to send the keyboard if I don't pay for taxes in 5 business days)? Obviously I would pay the new delivery prices.

The reason I need to do this, is because Brazilian taxes are gonna be the same price as my purchase, so almost 450 USD.
