I've tried to remap two to a different key or layer to see if that would work at all but it didn't. I know its not the actual keyboard because I have tested all the keys and they work. It seems to be a software issue or something.

When did this start happening? Also have you already tried restoring the device in Wootility?

# compact fossil This started two days ago and Yes I have tried restoring the device in wootility...

can you attempt the following tests

  • (check if the keyboard detects the switch position)
    this can be pretty easy
  1. go to the site https://analog-monitor.wootility.io
  2. connect the keyboard
  3. press a few keys and see if the analog monitor reacts

Note this will be similar to the Wootility key press detection so both can work for this test

(checking the drivers)
to do this we can launch "Device Manager" can you follow the instructions below and take a screenshot of what is visible

  1. right-click the Windows Start icon
  2. select Device Manager
  3. select View
  4. select Devices by container
  5. find the keyboard and expand the device tree
  6. take a screenshot of what is visible
  7. paste this into discord

wish to check if any driver is missing namely "HID keyboard device" which is needed to receive information from the keyboard and translate this to keys A, B, C, etc

in that i suspect software interfaces are actively looking for a certain key to be pressed for its own purpose, causing a conflict to happen

finding the software is the tricky part, let me get a list of reported ones if any relate to your case

#

<key combination>

  • Samsung Magician Ctrl + W
  • Nvidia Instant Replay Ctrl + Z
  • AMD Adrenaline Alt + R |Alt + Z | Ctrl + Shift + O
  • TRYX - Kanali ALT + Q
  • Razer Synapse Shift + Spacebar

<induvial keys>

  • Track IR F6,F7,F8
  • Wallpaper Engine UP Arrow
  • Nvdia Instant Replay ]
  • VLC R-Arrow
  • Razer Synapse W | A | S | D | Shift | all

If you don't have any of this software running, I recommend checking for the type of software below and temporarily disabling it.

  • Disable any macro software currently running.
  • Disable software that has an overlay feature, such as "Steam, Epic, Overwolf, Nvidia, AMD" or others.
  • Disable software/applications that launch on startup.

@jade wing I had nvidia instant replay on and now it works. Does that mean I can only use one at a time?

you may have some luck launching Geforce Experience with high privileges (admin) and see if that helps

or rebind the key in software to anouther
