i know the keyboard is old but it was working completely fine and for some reason today the r key stopped working. the rgb works and when i point a flashlight it on it types the letter r but i have no clue what to do and i cant find anywhere to buy a pcb for the wooting one

If you put another switch on the R spot from your spares in the box or from a different key on the keyboard, does it work again?

i tried changing the switch and i do think its the ir thats either busted or dirty and i cant tell which it is since when i point my camera to see the if i see a purple glow, but my camera doesnt capture anything.

if you remove a switch next to it do you see the light (cameras can have a IR filter so this could make it hard or not possible to see)

my phone does have a ir fillter so i cant see the light im petty sure is a pcb issue

you could try opening a support ticket but idk if we have spare parts left.
The only place i know with new old stock wooting ones is https://candykeys.com/product/wooting-one
other than that if no spare parts are available (as in you got an answer to a ticket you made about this) the only other options besides candykeys would be buying an 80he, 2he or 60he

Idk if it’s worth buying another wooting one if it’s only one key that doesn’t work if it’s not fixable I’ll just buy another keyboard
