Try disabling "USB selective suspend setting" - Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > Power Options > Change plan settings > Change advanced power settings
Done, it didnt fix the problem 😔
Try other USB ports on the computer some can have issues.
also as you have the 80HE you can change the polling rate to 1000 and see if this resolves the problem
If this resolves the problem it may related to "USB hi-Speed" issue
so you can try the Beta firmware and see if any improvement
- Entered bios to turn on Legacy usb support
- Changed usb ports
- Restored the Keyboard
- disabled usb selective suspended setting
Nothing worked, but turned the Keyboard in 1K Hz and it worked, restarted PC 3 Times and the 3 times the keyboard connected well at the start
So you’re right, it was 8k Hz issue
for references
8k uses "USB Hi speed"
1k Uses "USB Fullspeed"
USB full speed is more common and it seems some motherboards have issues with "USB hi-speed' so may be the caues you can try lunching the Beta wootility and updating to the current latest Beta firmware and see if 8k issue still happens
otherwise may need to check for bios updates or try more ports if the current sample size of usb ports tested is low
Alr, didnt know that it worked that way, will try beta firmware
it is pretty uncommon that keyboards support 8k "usb Hi speed" so may just be a oversignt
Tested 3 USB Blue ports idk if its high or low
Msi B650 gaming plus wifi as mobo
you can try ports color coded differently as long as the port is 2.0+ should be fine
Alright so even with Beta firmware I have the issue
Will try an another port now
@vital rock Alright
Thought the blue ones USB port was the fastest but with Red USB Port, it works well
It reconnects automatically even with 8k Hz
Nice, the blue USB ports may share a USB controller or use the same USB controller chip (hard to say without looking at the manual/specs)
Also, the port should not affect the keyboard speed/latency, except in cases where the port/controller chip has issues, but that is pretty rare
