#wooting 80he unresponsive and buggy

my wooting 80he has been a pain recently. I haven’t had it for long but at times some of the keys on the keyboard randomly stop working and some of the keys would work but only if u kept spamming it aggressively. It also causes my pc to act up, i know it’s not my computer because this issue only started happening after i started using the wooting. Oh and while i was playing valorant today, my tab and shift and tab key kept beeping every time i pressed it. Shift and Tab became a toggling bind instead of hold and release which is my usual. It’s almost as if the key is stuck?

I tried using 1k polling instead of 8k, didn’t help.

the keys when pressed on do random things, it starts opening tasks

Try different port and USB cable

it didn’t seem to work, my keys are unresponsive once again and my wasd movement keys seem to be delayed

currently using a usb cable from corsair as well

i switched over to the corsair cable because it was doing the same thing w the wooting cable. I also changed the port too

do you think the issue could be that the modded has mods to it?

i added a piece of foam to it, i’m not sure if that’s affecting it

So you added the foam inside the case or between the PCB and switch plate?

i added it to the bottom of the case and also added 2 layers of tape to the back of the pcb but i made sure i left a good cutout for the connector
