Can we tone down the number of pings please

I like the way Wooting keeps me informed of giveaways, product updates, releases etc. This is a great resource. Realistically though, only a tiny fraction of people here will be going to Gamescom and I'm certain they've already got the message. I just don't want the threshold of ping-worthy announcements here to get to the point where I have to mute the server. Thanks!

i would go out on a limb here and say we just didnt think through the whole gamescom ping situation enough beforehand. ideally wed have an everyone ping to inform people we are at gamescom and tell them how they can get a role to get pinged about gamescom stuff so people can then opt into it weeks/months before.
