Personally, it's great, I can't really say much for gaming in general cus I don't really focus much in that area but rather than in music. It's a safe harman tuned iems and for the price it's really good. I'd say they're like a neutral warm iem with good vocals for music (esp in male vocals imo), It's smooth, bass is present and rich but aint overpowering. But otherwise, for gaming, I play valorant and it's serving me well. Again, I'm not focused into this space but all I can say is that the details are there. Footsteps are present, gunshots, everything. vnice

Any suggestions to make my wooting 60he not feel like a he? Currently have a mix of lekker switches, 45 and 60 and the sound and feel is horrible sadly.

Trying to make a Wooting HE keyboard similar to a MX board is quite hard due to the limitations we get from the PCB itself and the overall switch structural design. There are great performing switches to start for a change that are a lot better than lekkers like the Raptor v2, owlab ti he, and etc. If you got switches out of the way for a change, you can look into other plate material options that provide different stiffness, density, and sound. It can range from plastic plates where it provides lower resonance and focus more on lower end frequencies of sound to more balanced setup like fr4, to more moderate and brighter/louder sounding plates like ALU, CF, and steel. Besides from all that, you can also look into other cases that provide different mounts that can support the Wooting PCB although it only supports tray mount and friction pad (on woot store). If you have a supporting 60% layout case with the port being on the left side of the case and it uses a different mount because of a plate (like frog mini og for example which it uses tadpole mount), you can get a custom cut plate to support that mount while making sure it is mountable on the wooting PCB.

If you're asking me and about my board, I don't own a Wooting anymore but in my current HE board I am using the Venom60HE. It has gummy o'ring cutouts around the pcb to support gummy o'ring cases like the frog mini leggera/pesante, bakeneko60, unikorn, and others. (Not promoting) Feel wise, it's a soft feeling board due to its mount being on a gummy o'ring and it provides a even sounding board.

Thank you for taking the time for a such a indepth reply. It was exactly what I was looking for. The venom keyboard sounds absolutely amazing. I am guessing Raptor v2 would not end up sounding like that. I do have a custom case and it has improved the sound, currently looking for a plate option and switches. Where could I find the parts to replicate your switches on the venom? or would the Raptors be close enough to just go that route.

To be honest, I think Raptor v2 would sound quite similar to my frakenswitch. @static bluff told me not to get them if you have like Rawhukies (the frakenswitches i'm using) and owlab TI HE. Sound wise they're quite similar i suppose but the stem wobble on the raptor v2 is top tier. So I would get that to be honest. Rawhukies were made from combining 2 switches, Geon Raw HE and Duhuks. I fraken switched them ever since i bought the duhuk switches on release and it served me well. But I wouldn't recommend buying 2 set of switches just to make this while there are good performing value switches like the owlab ti he and the raptor v2.

Moving on to plates. I'm currently using a aluminum plate and you should be able to find one somewhere online that is wooting compatible. Last time I check it was from KBDfans (Can also get on KBDfans aliexpress). I personally like alu since it's known to give that lively resonate moderate sound signature out of the board. Comparing to carbon fiber where it is a really bright sounding plate where the volume is loud and very "bright" overall but doesn't have that much resonance sound like a ALU plate.

I can't make any judgment on owlab ti he and raptor v2 as i dont own both of them, especially with the raptor v2 since they just released. I think there is a occurring issue with the springs rubbing the bottom housing due to the mold for some counts in a batch. I can't confirm that since i saw a glimpse of the message in #🔧│keyboard_modding but @static bluff can confirm that with you since he owns them. But for owlab TI HE however, they're great choices, personal favorite for most, I can't justify any reasonings cus again I don't own them and I honestly haven't been really focused in the HE market lately even though im quite active in the chat. But otherwise, if you want to like try to go for a similar sounding build like my board, I would just go for Raptor v2 or Owlab TI HE with like a brighter sounding plate that are not plastic plates and FR4. Would probably go with ALU or CF personally.

Tofu 60 Redux and Frog Mini Leggera T uses tray mount but the only thing different is their design, weight, and density
