I've just found out that a 3 key have more "sensible" keys, in the image it is at 0,05mm while the wooting (or atleast the 80he) has 0,15mm maximum.

Sorry if this very unclear

Woot doesn’t see a benefit in sub 0.1mm AP/RT. They’ve said that in the future they’ll change the minimum from 0.15 to 0.1 but not 0.05 or something like that.

Also, a keypad with 3 keys doesn’t have anything to do with it haha. There are full boards with 0.01 (and alike) numbers too.

the main reason is that (as far as we can tell) all the keyboards that offer below 0.2mm (from what we have seen) use a deadzone of 0.1 or 0.2mm meaning while you set a value its actually the value you set + the deadzone. and in a lot of cases this deadzone is non adjustable.

that’s the case for woot as well but that doesn’t mean there’s no gain throughout the press. 🤷‍♂️
