I want to use the analog in gta 5 mainly for driving to control throttle like how it works using a controller (gradual acceleration depending on how far you press the trigger), but I can't get it to work. Pressing the key even just slightly sends the car full throttle no matter how much I change the analog curve.

idk if anything changed on the enhanced edition but i remember last time i made driving and walking profiles for GTA5 i had to remove the keybinds for the keys i put gamepad buttons on
second option is to enable the gamepad mapping override toggle but it also means you cant type properly with the profile anymore

Ok I think gamepad mapping override did the trick and I can now control the throttle properly.

I also lowered the actuation point to 0.1 thinking it would help

did you check with the gamepad tester if right trigger is correctly used
as in you get the full key press

because im almost sure the slow preset isnt what you want
