the 1x1 upcoming volume knob(and request) | Wooting | Page 1

hi, i don't have a wooting yet (still waffling on what i want to buy) and one of the things that was holding me back was no volume knob.

i recently heard of the knobs you're coming out with, and it sounds pretty cool but i have questions.

see, initially i was pretty turned off by it when i thought i'd have to give up a key for it...but then i got to thinking:

-i could replace the pause key with a 1x1 and make the spin left/right volume control. pressing it mutes it...but then i could make the SecondLayer the pause button. this is acceptable...but then i also got to thinking...
-the second layers spin left could be a button of it's own, and spin right as well...and even more exciting...
-if you could let me to tell the button to not act on the first 500ms of the press, then i could make a rapid double tap do the pause function without having to use a second finger to touch the SecondLayer at all! this idea has me drooling.
-and with such an ignore delay, i could make pressing it lightly mute, rapid double press pause, and a full press could be a third function! ALL WITH JUST ONE GLORIOUS FINGER! i'm quivering with anticipation

and why stop there??? with such a delay would could make it do something else with THREE rapid taps! or double light taps, and double full taps! the possibilites are endless
