How can I make a key change color upon pressing it?

I want it to be more clear when my numpad is enabled or disabled, in the wootility software how can I go about doing that?

You add numlock to a key and change the little circle inside of it for the ON colour.

I did, I think I have another little issue instead

Whenever I change any RGB settings they don't apply

replugging in my keyboard sets it to the correct RGB settings in wootility for a few seconds

Sure sounds like you have another RGB app taking over.

then they switch back to the ones (I assume) are stored on the keyboard
