Is your firmware up to date?

Also is keyboard plugged directly into the motherboard? If so try other USB port.

keyboard is directly plugged into motherboard.
tried 2-3 different ports, but problem kept happening again.
However, there actually was a firmware update available. will test for few days and see if problem reappears after firmware update.

thank you for help. will report back

Was this a prebuilt keyboard, or one you put together yourself? Sounds like the internal JST connector cable could have gotten slightly loose.
