I got my 80HE last week for my birthday and there's been ghost inputs across many of my keys, the main ones being F5 and S, but sometimes others. It's a slight actuation, usually caps out at 0.25mm, but it jumps around from 0.01mm to 0.25mm just like it's flickering or twitching, without me applying pressure.
Yes, I already contacted Wooting Support but I'm waiting for a response.
I've tried all the main troubleshooting like:
- Trying different USB ports
- Trying different USB cables
- Unplugging and replugging
- Recalibrating the hall effect sensors
- Swapping switches
- Reflashing the firmware
- Decreasing the brightness
- Testing voltage stability (it's stable)
- Updating the firmware (2.10.1 [i think, whatever's most recent])
- Decreasing the polling rate to 1000 Hz from 8000 Hz
- Making sure my desk isn't magnetic or that nothing magnetic is nearby
Sometimes the issue goes away on its own and then comes back. It's not causing actual inputs in games, but sometimes it deactivates keys entirely. Like when it happens on my S key, I'm unable to press S at all until the issue fixes itself, which is usually by pressing the S key til it starts working again. That's only because my actuation on WASD is 0.35mm for shooters and 1.00mm for everything else.
