#Forced currency conversion adds $57 to my cart

Hi, I was about to place an order but saw there's a hidden cost due to forced ILS conversion — about $30 extra on the keyboard alone.
With extras like wrist rest, cable, and keycaps, the gap jumps to ~$57.
This also inflates the import taxes I’ll have to pay locally.

I emailed support but got no real help.
Is this something customers worldwide are experiencing?

Yes, they use shitty conversion rates for extra profit even inside the EU “single market”. Not much you can do since they only sell through their store.

If you’re able to use cashapp pay or alipay with the “other payments” section in checkout, it may be able to bypass the fee. Otherwise, you’re subject to exchange rate and fee that Shopify uses to convert from your local currency to euro (unless in USA where it’s USD).
