#Multiple Keys give "Enter" as input

Recived my Two HE yesterday and just now pluged it.
Already while navigation to wootility.io I felt something was off.

Multiple keys dont work as they supposed to be from what i have tested by now "backspace", "´", "+", "#", "R-Shift","arrow left", "arrow down", "f12", "f11" all sends the input "enter"
Assigning a normal letter to the keys in wootility sometimes let them trigger an double action aka sending the "letter" + "enter".

While writing this I noticed that the keys that send "enter" dont have the full 4mm - smth. between 0,9 to 1,3mm.

I'm pretty clueless / help pls?

Sorry to ping you @timber monolith but maybe this is related to what you mentioned last time here?

It seems that all that set of keys are constantly triggered so I wonder if it's the opposite issue where all of them work instead 😅

I would open a support ticket @cold ingot I never saw this kind of error 😅

# cold ingot sure thing will do, just wanted to double check if there was an easy fix :)

ugh... so the issue at hand doesn't look good as it appears that the keys affected are all on one component, the "U5" multiplexer or mux
image for references.

so normally when this happens the component is shorted most of the time from a spill but as you mention it arrived in this way i think the component was not properly soldered and in transit a connection was broken disconnecting the mux

this would be warranty replacement situation

#

if interested the keyboard microcontroller doesn't have enough inputs/pins to read 108 sensors so we use a multiplexer or mux instead to input 14–16 analog values from the hall sensors and output to a single line it rotates between each input rapidly

the image above is what multiplexer each one is connected to
