i don't feel like my character's movement is under my control with 0.15 rapid trigger. Also, does it matter if use a rather high actuation point 1.7mm (i bottom out my key)

i feel so inconsistent on tachyon mode as well

0.15 is a very slight change so you might be accidentally letting go of the keys that much

Id js recommend getting used to .1 mm actuation point

For me it took mayb a week to get used to it but was definitely worth it

Ofc its preference but there is latency in what actuation point you pick

I feel in total control with 0.1mm compared to my old keyboard with regular mechanical tactile switch.
