I don't want to mess with it, I'd rather send it back for warranty
It's worth trying, there's like almost zero chance to break something (with the keyboard you probably got replacement switches too); trying is way too worth it, we talk about saving a lot of time and well the support would tell you exactly this - theres a chance to save a lot of time. Please note however the hall effect switches fit in the pcb only via plastic legs which are usually stronger compared to normal switches (but it's hot swappable no matter what, just require more force). At the end of the day its up to you tho, theres a reason why these boards are hotswappable and we should take advantage of that
