In QMK, I've had shift plus escape working to produce tilde ~. Is there a way of getting that to work on wooting? I know fn plus escape work to produce grave ` but I'd like to get parity for the tilde key.

I've seen wootomation but I'd really just like the keyboard to do it. I have way too many computers and OSes to deal with all of that.

Depends on your keyboard language/layout in the OS, you'd probably need to set up DKS on a key in an Fn layer

no qmk specifically cheats on shift+esc and makes esc not be esc when shift is held down but the backtick key on the US layout (which gives tilde)

also iirc the whole way how qmk implements this also easily breaks
