Not really. Desired form factor is paramount. If you want complete customization though, a 60% board will be best because there’s so many cases out there you can put it in. The 2he can only be used in the case it comes in from wooting.
but what about stuff like True 8KHz Polling etc
8k vs 1k polling isn’t noticeable like it is with mice…and even then, most people run mice at 1-2k. Someone who’s trash at 1k polling is still going to be trash at 8k.
Fun fact: people that use keyboard and mouse on console are locked at 125Hz on Xbox and 250Hz on PS5. (Locked by the console)
or any other functions im missing?
ha intresting
dident know this was a thing
This is a chart of all current keyboards. Really, the main differences between 60he+ and 60he v2 are 8k polling, more customization features, and new switches in the prebuilt.
what about the 80% is it alot of cases for that?
Outside of what wooting offers, no. Maybe a handful, if that. It’s a proprietary layout, so case manufacturers have to make a case specifically for the 80HE for it to be compatible.
more and more third party cases are releasing
I think there are about 4 now (not counting ours)
ok thanks^^ I guess I have a lot to thinkabout becuse of thenumpad and all..
Wooting releasing a separate numpad has been a topic of discussion for so long (because a lot of people want to play with a 60% but have a numpad for productivity tasks), there’s even a pinned conversation in the feedback channel https://discord.com/channels/167181566978555904/1216240474663419995
Kinda a meme at this point
Hey, we’re not trying to win any tech source setup wars 💀
hahaha
I still use a wired mouse because I don’t want to worry about charging or interference
Im just unsure sense its alot of money and stuff
Sleep on it
for sure
