I cleaned my keyboard with just a wet papertowel and water spilled into some of the keycaps somehow. Now my spacebar keeps flickering in the wootility software saying I'm pressing it and changing how hard i press it. Do I have to get new lekker switches now or will it dry out eventually? Or is it jover and I cant use my keyboard anymore?

The switch likely isn’t the problem. If the keyboard pcb got wet and you continued to use it, you probably shorted something out. If that’s the case, oh well.
Switches themselves are nothing but plastic, a spring, and a magnet.
If you are experiencing your keyboard pressing random keys and opening programs, then you came to the right video. The issue is usually caused by an instable amount of voltage entering the board. Follow along to see what you can do about it.

Can try to troubleshoot and see if that fixes things
I just spent about 45 minutes taking out every keycap and every switch and the bottom white thing (pcb I’m assuming) was wet. I am having it dry out by itself but also rubbed my shirt inside the holes and shook it upside down to get water out. I washed my keyboard at about 2pm today and then played on it for 2.5 hours before taking a 6 hour break and then another 3 hours of gaming. Do you think it will work after it dries? If not do I have to buy a new keyboard or can I replace just the pcb or what should I do?
@full night
Let everything fully dry and see if it’ll work. If it’s messed up permanently, you can buy a new module if you have the 60 or 80
I have the 80he, how much does a new module cost
And would water damage be converted under warranty? Idk if I got one or not but I just got the keyboard about 2 months ago so it should be covered still if I have a warranty
$164.98 in the US. Your keyboard isn’t covered under warranty anymore after that. And if you tried to disguise it and file a claim, when they inspect, it wouldn’t be hard to tell if it’s got damage from fluids (if it’s permanently damaged).
Ok thank you!
should I be drying it upside down? I have it sitting normally right now and I’m about to go to bed
It doesn’t really matter as long as it dries before use.

Water has minerals in it, causing it to be conductive. Technology and water don’t mix.
