My space bar switch just died

It just died randomly, no reason for that to happen, i have the two he.
I was typing a message when the key stopped working, i replugged the keyboard and nothing, took out the keycap to press the switch and see if there's any debrie, nothing

I took out the spare ones that came out with the keyboard and it worked when i changed it, replugged the old switch and again nothing, i even tried to use the broken switch on another key as a test but the switch died died.

the keyboard has never left the desk and goes through weekly cleaning just in case.
