Wooting 60HE 1 of 1 "Spectral Carbon Fiber" Case

This is my custom-made case for my Wooting 60HE, which is made of Spectral Carbon Fiber. While this material is usually reserved for aerospace, motorsport, and watchmaking brands, I was lucky enough to have an amazingly supportive engineer behind the case who could get me a block from FatCarbon.

FORM > FUNCTION. Isogrid structure was invented for performance, but I used it for visual purposes. I think Isogrid pattern is pure engineering porn.

This big block of carbon fiber was made by @fatcarbon , I doubt that there are many manufacturers that can make such kind of composite void free. Big up!

Yea I was looking for other case options but all I found was heavier materials and I kinda want to make it even lighter. The cf should be pretty light though, looking online to see if I can find one too

Just a warning though, this specific carbon fiber is not sold to the public and this build altogether ran me €4,200

My recommendation for ANYBODY looking for weight and quality is to find a stainless steel build. Especially one with round edges. When it’s done right, it’s hard to top with any material.

Yea I was looking at fatcarbon, seems like they do have other types of carbon fiber for sale. But none thick enough either

@hearty sphinx you should look up the Norbaur Stainless Steel cases made in Silicon Valley. Insanely gorgeous smooth edges unlike anything else I’ve seen. I still want one to this day.
