From what I've read, the keycaps that come with the Two HE keyboard do not come with spare ones. Is this only the case with the ANSI version, or is ISO United Kingdom also affected by this? Asking since clicking on the ISO image shows additional images of both the ANSI and ISO keys, while the ANSI one has just one picture
The page for the standalone keycaps says both the ISO and ANSI ones contain 138 keys instead of 109, and knowing which keys they are would be good to know, I think.
I'm planning on buying the ISO keyboard since it has an extra button next to Shift, but I wanted to have keycaps from the ANSI layout, like the 2 key with @ instead of " so I wanted to know which one of these options would achieve this:
A) Buy the ISO keyboard with the UK keycaps at that 25% off deal, hoping it comes with spare keys for the ANSI layout as well.
B) Buy the ISO keyboard with no keycaps, and buy the US ANSI keycap set, since it apparently has spare keys to fit into an ISO layout. So no discount.
C) Buy the ISO keyboard with the UK keycaps, and also go buy the US ANSI set, hopefully guaranteeing I have all the keys I need, but at the cost of having to buy the second set, and without the discount. And for no reason if either set already had everything I needed.
D) Go with option A, see if it has the needed keycaps, and buy the second keycap set later if it didn't. Though I'd have to pay for shipping twice.
E) Just buy the ANSI keyboard and lose out on that single extra key, or just buy the ISO keyboard and suffer in # being replaced by £
Anyway, thanks for reading my long query
