Hello! I recently purchased a Wooting 80HE and on arrival I changed the RGB lights to all white. However, after doing so, I noticed that the tilda key was different in the face it only was blue. I initially thought it was a software issue so I made sure the firmware was updated and then I did the rainbow cycle to test all the other LEDs to make sure it was only the tilda key. I then reached out to Wooting support and they said I could either replace the PCB or return it since it’s within the return period to get a new one. The questions I have is that if I get a replacement PCB, will it only be the PCB or will it come with the bottom tape and stabilizers? Will it also have another 2 year warranty for the replacement PCB? And finally, Will I have to pay for the shipping for the return of the defective PCB?

Hmm ok. So you wouldn’t know if the replacement PCB that would be sent would include the stabs, tape mod, and 2 year warranty?

The replacement PCB (module) will retain the original guarantee of the keyboard

Oh ok that’s great to hear in case something were to happen with the replacement module

What are the chances! I got the replacement PCB and the replacement has the exact same issue. The tilda key RGB LED is broken as well and only displays blue. Do I have to go through customer support again to get this issue fixed???

Just to check, is the JST cable routed directly below the tilde key?
When you reassembled the keyboard, was the JST cable seated inside the cable channel?

Because if the JST cable is resting on top of the channel, it can place pressure on the tilde key and cause it to creak or break?

It was seated inside the channel. Prior to even installing it completely into the keyboard I noticed the rgb led on the tilda keys looked much different than the other ones on the board

Also when getting the replacement module, customer service never reached out to check if the module worked for me or not. They said they would confirm with me that the module works and then send me a return label for the defective unit but that never happened.
