The really old wooting keyboards had proprietary switches but everything offered now uses normal he switches
So they don't sell a module and switches separately ATM? I hate having to buy a pre built keyboard and replace all the switches I'll never use
What? Modules don't have switches preinstalled (or included)
2he wasn’t designed for “complete” customization with using 3rd party cases.
60he v2 not added to the chart but you can see the pcb is integrated on the two he
Yea, but in checkout with the 80he module I could order the kok pom, when buying the two it didn't give me switches to buy. I couldn't buy the module and switches and put it together without buying the full thing. Not the module... There is no module option so you can't get the switches you want without buying a complete kit
There's no module for the 2HE.
2he doesn’t sell as a module. Pcb is built into the case
I know, that's my complaint
It predates that design philosophy.
So they should change that
Likely considered when they update it down the road
We should - But it won't happen with the 2HE. If/When we decide to make a new full sized keyboard, this will likely be a focus.
Good, because it's wasteful ewaste as of now
Perhaps. Thankfully not a very common use case.
Fuck it, I bought a 60he and a 80he and I'm returning both now and buying used
Can't wait for real competition on the software end
Competition drives innovation. Everyone is a winner from that.
I'll buy new when we're all winners then
