1 - A new type of plate, which has 2 types of materials, the plate has 2 parts, the inner and the outer, which you can see on the first image, i would do the outer part made of FR4, and the inner made of polycarbonate for a better sound on both parts, you can find these type of plate on the Freya keyboard, by Wuque Studio.
2 - A silent Magnetic switches, you can make one by putting a thin layer of silicone in the trail of the stem of the switch just like in the second image, found this example on Outemu silence peach V3.
