it is not
Okay Thank You
is it 1k
sorry, can't answer that one, I just know it's not 8k, as that is only a pretty recent thing for wooting
any future upgrade kits like a replacement pcb with beter specs?
Why would you need 8KHz on a 3 switch keyboard array?
if thats a question then so would be why yould you need 8khz on a SIZE switch keyboard array the size isnt related to the polling rate
Depending on the beatmap difficulty you're supposed to hit a target within a window of 30ms for example to get a perfect score with 1khz you only have 1 update per ms which is not bad but what if you pressed the button precisely 15ms late which would still give you a "perfect hit" but it barely didn't make it and you get slightly lower accuracy. If you had 8khz it updates every 0.125ms can't blame your hardware when you eventually miss by a small margin
It's the small details that matter and we expect for such a pricey keypad
This surprised me a lot. I knew they all had 1k but I assumed the 60HE+ and 80HE would have the same polling rate since they both use the same chip
And in most cases, we don't. But there's an argument to be made on 3 keys pads 😊
They are not!
They don't use the same chip though.
TLDR;
2HE, UwU, 60HE/60HE+ are all 1khz
60HEv2 and 80HE are 8khz
But wouldn't it be cheap to produce a replacement pcb for such a small keypad
Not enough of a potential market for just a PCB in this pricerange. At that point you might as well ask for an UwUv2 with 6 keys or something similarly different.
or a MacroPad.. but I will remain silent or the numpad wanters will rain here 😄
Same same
now you are breaking their heart ... 😄
