#Wooting 60HE+ Only Negotiates USB Full-Speed (12 Mbps) on All Ports – Not High-Speed

Hey everyone — I’ve run into a persistent issue with my Wooting 60HE+ and was hoping for community insight or dev-level support.

No matter which port I use on my system (ASUS ROG Strix Z790-E Gaming WiFi), the Wooting only ever negotiates at USB Full-Speed (12 Mbps) instead of the expected USB 2.0 High-Speed (480 Mbps). This is confirmed via USB TreeView, which reports:

Device Max Speed: Full-Speed
Device Connection Speed: Full-Speed
USB version: 2.00 -> wrong, device is Full-Speed only

This behavior causes analog polling instability and floaty rapid trigger behavior in-game.

Here’s what I’ve already done:

  • Plugged directly into all rear I/O USB 3.2 Gen 1 (blue) Type-A ports
  • Swapped USB cables, including high-quality shielded USB-C to A data cables
  • Fully uninstalled all USB composite/HID devices via Device Manager and USBDeview
  • Disabled all USB power-saving and suspend features in Windows
  • Verified that my GoXLR and G Pro Superlight 2 properly negotiate at High-Speed or SuperSpeed on the same ports
  • No hubs are involved — all direct port tests
  • Same behavior occurs across multiple ports, and the Wooting consistently pulls 400 mA at Full-Speed

I also tested the keyboard on another PC and got the same result — still Full-Speed only.

Thanks.

Let me know if you’d like to include screenshots or the actual USB TreeView dump.

So some quick troubleshooting you could try:
-try using usb c to c cable
-make sure your bios version is updated
-make sure your drivers are updated
-restore keyboard

#

floaty and inconsistant analog input. I RM

#

RMA'd it

#

after 1 or 2 games, the input lag becomes very noticable. strange behavior

#

itslike its fighting for resources with my mouse,if the keyboard feels great and responsive my sens feels off, vice versa

this is mine

Full speed is usb 1.1 equivalent iirc. It may be a board issue (wouldn’t hurt to restore it to see if that fixes it). Do your other ports recognize your other devices as full speed aswell?

Shouldn’t be, no. High speed is considered usb 2.0 standard. Full speed is considered usb 1.1 standard.

Maybe its a bad board

Did you try restoring the board?

#

I’m thinking it’s a driver issue either with the board (should fix itself after restore) or with usb ports
