So you entered restore mode

Cannot detect from wootility. Tried on two devices

snow sage

That's why you do what the image shows

austere blaze
#

Oh, sorry. Thanks

#

I'll give that a try

Enter "demo" mode and follow the steps and it should be detected and be able to do a restore

austere blaze
#

Not sure what demo mode is, but I'm stuck on "Waiting for update mode to connect". My browser isn't able to find the keyboard.

#

Which browser?

austere blaze

chrome

snow sage
#

Hmm, if you open "Bluetooth and other devices" in Windows, do you see "Wooting Restore" there?

#

Can be found in the start menu

austere blaze
#

No it isnt

snow sage
#

What was the reason you entered restore mode in the first place? As in, held down those buttons

austere blaze
#

keyboard wasnt working, plugged it in, no rgb or connection

Since you have the 80HE it is possible that the JST cable is loose, it's the cable connecting the small daughter board to the PCB. Sometimes it has to be reseated if it has come loose

austere blaze

I'll check

It can for example in some cases be only slightly loose so you'd get the RGB on the two keys but without a data connection to the PC
