About KVM Switch and Cable Length Latency

Hi, I’d like to ask a few questions.
My Wooting 60HE keyboard is connected to a KVM switch using the official Premium Cable Set, and then from the KVM switch, it’s connected to my Mac Studio with a 1-meter USB cable. I’m wondering if this setup could cause any risks of instability or added latency compared to directly connecting the official cable to the computer. I’m a bit concerned. any component in the chain adds latency just by the virtue of how electronics work

and instability depends mainly on the power the kvm provides on the usb port you connected the keyboard to

Thanks for your reply! I’m also curious—would there be any difference in latency between using the included USB cable that comes with the keyboard and the official Premium Cable Set?
