It’s entirely possible you may have messed something up. Have you tried to take it back out to inspect?
I did. I brushed the side with an isopropyl alcohol Q-tip to see if it was some sort of residue, but it didn't seem to work. The keys themselves still work just fine.
And you said you’ve tried to restore the board through this process?
Yup, already tried that.
I wonder if maybe you damaged the LED’s when replacing the switches or scratched some traces either on the front or back of the pcb
Would it help if I took a picture of the PCB with the side that has no RGB?
If the right person sees it maybe. I’d reach out to support in the wooting hub, since you likely would need more advanced troubleshooting. Unfortunately, if it’s a case of accidentally messing something up, warranty will be voided.
Dang. Well, I went ahead and made a ticket. I'll go ahead and upload a picture of the PCB here in the event someone can maybe see if I really did scuff it or not. Thanks for the help.
did you try checking one of the switches that seem inactive by pulling out the switch and checking that the rgb is actually off?
I did, and compared it to one that has a working LED and there wasnt any light from the left side ones
you dont happen to have an image of that do you?
Here you are
i shall summon @random helm for when he is available
