Not preassembled, no.
You can buy the module and parts, and put it all together yourself.
understood
Ive never built any keyboard so I dont want to risk any damages. Ill just buy the standard wooting
thank you for answering my question
This is a separate question but related to building it myself. If I changed my mind and were to build it, how come on the website the plastic case that comes on the stabdard 60he doesn’t show when im purchasing the 60he module? I don’t want to spend the extra money on an aluminum case when I’m fine with having the plastic one
Because we never intended to sell plastic cases for the 60HE.
This is something we changed for the more recent 80HE.
understood. one more question, are the lekker l45s different than the l60 in any other way except the actuation force?
Nope. Just 15g lighter
And what do the lekker l45s v2 or the lekker l60s v2 have over the first version?
They are not. Only V2.
V1.5 are used in all currently sold keyboards except the 80HE
Oh so the wooting 60he uses the lekker l60s 1.5?
If bought within the last six months or so? Yes.
yea I bought mine last week
what is the difference between the optimum and 60he, besides the different case and keycaps?
That's it.
The Optimum collab is a case and a set of keycaps designed by Optimum. You either buy them separately as an upgrade to your existing 60HE, or buy a 60HE Module along with it, and assemble it all.
so it is only different keycaps and case?
everything else is the same as the standard 60he
if so then ill get the optimum
so ive decided to build my own wooting. However, I want to get switches that have a starting actuation force of 40 and a bottom out force of around 50, are there any you can recommend that are close to that and work with the 60he?
Ive done more research on the switches wooting sells and I am heavily interested in the RAW L50 Linear. They seem to have a starting actuation force of 36 and an ending force of around 50 as opposed to the lekker l60s that have a starting of 40 and ending of 60. I was wondering, besides the sound of them and actuation forces, how else do they differ? and do they both have the same software technology?
Its just a switch
It works and supports wooting PCB's
The difference between the L60's or The L45 to RAW is mostly the weight the sound you can find a sound test for that
Actuation of the springs should be about the same? if im not wrong. Honestly just go for whatever you want. There are dudes in the modding community here Running Jades GEON, Owl TI HE, TTC KOM's and Duhaks
You can get 3rd party switches as per stated in the Website. But its up to you. If you want a actuation force of 40, Get GEON RAW HE 40 Or the OWL LAB TI HE 40, The 50 is an inbetween most of the time but it shldnt affect much
I dont know much of an indepth magnetic interference or how its being worked by the PCB, But it works Thats all you gotta know and thats really it
Heard, thank you.
Just know that if weight matters to u run something light thats all really dont like the sound? go lube or run a diff switch thats all i can really say
if not? mod it or change the keycaps
I love the wooting, dont get me wrong. However im used to the rk61 switches and they are about 40-50 grams heavy and after switching to the wooting with the lekker l60s, it was just not what i was used to and it was more heavier
so the raw l50s are like the closest in weight compared to my rk61
I dont care about the way they sound or anything, just pure performance
What switch color was your RK61
If its reds its a 45 Gram if it was blues its 50 Brown is also 50 btw but its just a tactile bump sound/feel
red
switches
I only have 1 question for the raw l50s, besides the sound difference compared to the lekker l60s and the gram weight difference, do they perform the same?
because I noticed that the bottom of the switch has a closed design as opposed to the l60s
I mean youre not going to notice much apart from feel really, Latency wise is so miniscule but compared to the L60 its more or less faster
what am i looking at
Latency performance
Idk man i just see the switches to pcb ms i was like
