Is it normal for usb (wire) to be slightly loose upon connecting to keyboard?

If you move it up and down, it disconnects but it stays in place once you have the right angle, and stays connected. I’ve used the nylon wire and stock wire, both same outcome.

sounds like your internal jst cable might not be connected all the way

#

if you would like to check, open up your keyboard and look at the connectors for the cable connecting the main board to the usb port. If they look like they are not inserted all the way you may need to push it in properly

(also, y'all should make your own threads and not necro a thread from almost a year ago)
