When trying to restore my device after it stopped working I can’t complete the restore process because of this error. I have tried different cables, different ports, and even a different computer. Nothing it working.

From the symptoms—that the keyboard stopped working and the restore process completes but doesn't leave Wooting Restore, indicated by a "Device reconnect" error

I think this is a case of a screw scratching the PCB solder mask, causing the screw to make contact with a trace grounding this.
