For example I want to tap and hold "c" key to type "ç" letter in my language. This feature would be very nice and many people wont need to change the keyboard language every time when needed to type a few letters.

the main issue with that is that if the keyboard layout doesnt have a button for it its not normally printable and depending on the operating system running needs different key combinations to try and print it (still cant guarantee it)

we wanted to toy around with some ideas but really dont get your hopes up.

Thanks for the brief answer. Hope someday we can have it.

I believe Mod Tap with Hyperkey support (DKS — Dynamic Key Stroke) would support this request/solve this problem directly, assuming there’s an Opt-C or somesuch keystroke to generate the character. If not, then you could use a Hyperkey to trigger a macro generator (e.g., Keyboard Maestro on macOS) to generate the character for you.

(In practical terms, a hyperkey is essentially a practically or literally untypable keystroke (e.g., F20) which the keyboard could generate and the computer could understand and which then maps directly in-keyboard or in-computer to the desired keystroke “ç” or indirectly in-computer-software to a macro to generate the desired keystroke (or action).)
