Just like the title says: When you drag a profile from Inactive to the Onboard Profiles, it should not move it but rather move a copy.
This will make profile management tasks easier

But then it would be both active and inactive. That makes 0 sense. HUH

Not if you want to use it on another keyboard

But the purpose of inactive profiles are to be inactive

That's what I do, and it's cumbersome . need to duplicate then drag .
In your reasoning, what is then the purpose of the inactive profiles?

I’ve personally got a handful of profiles for games I don’t play a bunch and they stay on my inactive list unless I’m ready to play said game

'a profile bank where you can just access all profiles' is the Inactive Profiles list. Look, I will even do one better:
If you drag a profile from Inactive to Onboard, it should copy the profile. Any profile moved from onboard to inactive should have the guid checked for duplicates. win-win

I think I do 🙂

Imagine having a lot of keyboards an having to constantly update their profiles
