The 5.0.0 changelog has a ton of vp9 encoded videos which overload hardware decoding. In firefox this results in 100% cpu usage, and in Chrome 50-60% on a 5800x3d.

from what we tested internally chromium based browsers somehow run tons better in the changelog page. firefox just doesnt want to do hardware offloading for some videos even though it does it for most of them on the same page.
I sadly have no current state of what will be done or when.
