what is a 3he
not that its likely that wed reuse the old scheme of
one = tkl
two = fullsize
according to current naming scheme that would make it a 4% keyboard 😄
100HE
100he
1000he
Maybe you can try requesting a custom keyboard
#1347383897494786059 message Join me to ask for a 96% + knob layout

Same~~~~ I use all 6 keys above arrow keys + arrow keys for work. and numpads are usefull occationally. 3HE will be nice.
80HE missing 2 of the 6 keys above the arrow....
It will be really nice to have a keyboard that can be used for work + gaming.
what comes after the 60HEV2? is it 80HEV2 or Two HE?
i pray every day that our lord and savior calder could consider a new twohe
not like we can improve much on the 80he rn as the 60hev2 brings the 60 to where the 80 is
Agree, I think 80HE was out last year or so? just right before this coming up 60He v2.
I feel if they release the numPad + a newer 80HE that has all 6 keys above the arrow, it actually will make sense. We can buy the numpad and put it on the left side of the keyboard combining with a full-ish keyboard without numpad. Like a 82HE, added back the 2 extra keys above the arrow keys
This approach makes the keyboard more customizable and appealing to a wider audience. Some users may prefer a compact setup without a numpad, while others can opt to pay extra for one. The modular numpad also gives flexibility in positioning, allowing it to be placed on either the left or right side, depending on the user’s preference and mouse placement.
Thanks, I saw that which is why I was suggesting a 82HE instead of another Full-size keyboard.
idk, just a thought, might be a cool idea.
3he = uwu?
Yea, horrible re-name by me, but it's just an idea.
Not a 3-key board, but maybe an 82HE — adding back the two extra keys above the arrow cluster (Home/End) that are missing from the 80HE. Then pair it with a numpad. I think that would be really nice. For those who want the keyboard closer to the mouse, you can just re-orient the numpad, and vice versa.
Tbh its me but i just remove page up and down and put home and delete instead while having 2 profile switch shortcuts on top
Was thinking that too, but I want the pgup and pgdn. Because sometimes I got too lazy to reach for mouse to find lines few pgs up or down.
And honestly, keypad should take higher priority, as there are more demand for it. (271 votes from the other thread).
80HE Keyboard can be manageable. I guess there aren't that many people who uses those 6 keys which is understandable for the lower demand.
I mean u can just put page up and down to FN layer
Interesting, I should try that. Just need to get used to it — once the muscle memory builds, it shouldn’t be too annoying.
Great suggestion btw
Or just use mod tap for home and end on page up and down
Honestly, that might just be the solution I need. I just gotta try this for a bit.
Do you play MapleStory? It's a old dying Korean game. The keys above the arrow keys can be used to quickly cast buffs too. In gaming scenario it might not be too easy to tab that extra key. But still manageable.
But for coding, this tab is more than plenty to solve the issue.
😭 I still want the 6 keys layout above the arrows key. Maybe a Two HE v2 would be the goat. I could use all those workarounds but it's just not the same
