Hi Wooting-Team,

I'm currently searching for a new keyboard and stumbled about wooting. Before buying I sent over a Question to social@ - on 13.01. Except one automated answer I didn't got an answer at all. Whats wrong here?

The main question was: Is there any plan to refresh (e.g. polling rate) the two HE in the near future?

270 euros is a lot of money for a keyboard. Even more if you pay it for a discontinued model 🙂

well its not discontinued at the moment. and we dont have plans currently to share on the future of the 2he except itll get uodates for as lomg as posdible with the hardware it has. given the track record of the original wooting one (2016) and two thats a good 7 to 8yrs probably from release and possibly longer.

Yes, but the 2he is now 3 years old? There are the v2 Keys, faster polling and maybe other now features which would it worth to wait some more weeks. therefore the question.

the only things it doesnt have from the 80he is the usb2 chip for the 8khz polling

otherwise the features are identical between all of our keyboards

they all have rapid trigger, socd, rappy snappy and what not

#

the only real difference other than that would be that the 2he isnt using a module approach for the pcb which the 60he/80he do use.

hmm... as far as i can see the 2HE don't has the Lekker L60 V2 Keys. Is this info just missing?

only the 80 comes with those. the other keyboards moved to v1.5 which is almost the same as v2 sans some very minor tolerance improvements

v2 switches are ofc available to purchase separately and just work on any of our he boards the same as on the 80
